Well I haven't been here for the whole year so I didn't really do much in English but some of the good things I done was. Reading as often as I could and recoding it in my homework diary, I finish my independent reading books, I learned a Romeo and Juliet speech and done a video which Mr.Macknight didn't show to the whole class because there were many technical problems. Some of my weaknesses in English are reciting or memorizing things, and spelling some words correctly. Some of my strengths are writing very long stories about any topic given to me and also reading books really quickly is another strength I have in English. I did improve one habit and that habit was getting homework done the night it's assigned not in class or in the morning before I go to school or on the bus on way to school. One bad habit that still remains is biting nails constantly. The best thing about English does not have to do homework all the time except for reading which is very easy to do every night for 15 minutes only.

What I least liked about the class was having to watch Romeo and Juliet because I just hate it .I think that for English a deserve a 5 for my grade because I read most nights when I could and I done most of the things I was asked to do so I think I deserve to get a 5 for my grade.

Beginning stages of hip hop (1970-1980s)

1970s

Hip hop music emerged from block parties thrown by owners of loud and expensive stereo equipment, which they could share with the community or use to compete among competitive West Indian DJs who began isolating the percussion break from funk or disco songs. The rough economic situation of the inter-city community motivated DJs to remake, rearrange, or remix existing recordings into completely different compositions with the use of turntables. DJs would extend the break section of previously released songs.    recording with the use of two turntables and a mixer. In the late 1970s which included rapping, beat boxing, scratching, graffiti, and break dancing. So because New York City is considered to be the birthplace of hip hop.

                                             Romeo & Juliet

The movie about Romeo and Juliet is not that great and I think that Romeo isn't that great because he doesn't know how to talk and I don't like his poetry because I have just never liked poetry

The movie

So far in the movie all that has happened is. That Romeo has gone to the capulets party and the capulets are Romeos enemy so when he went to the party he was wearing a mask so that the capulets wouldn't any that it was him. An after Romeo was at the party for 15 minutes and then  Juliet's cousin Tibult  saw  Romeo at the party and Tibult went and told the leader of the capulets and the leader said nothing much and the Romeo saw Juliet and he stood still well watching her dance and then some people brought some sort of bells out and who ever got them were able to dance so Romeo got one and then he started dancing and then Tibult went and told the leader again and the reason why he kept going back to tell the leader was because there enemy was going on to Tibult families turf  that's why he was so angry with Romeo. and then Romeo started to dance with Juliet and after the dance Juliet wanted to find out the name of the person she danced with and she didn't know what he looked like because he was wearing his mask and then Juliet called the nurse and she told the nurse to go and ask someone who the man with the mask on and when she came back and told Juliet. Juliet was so surprised because the told her that he was a Montague and that his name was Romeo. And then a guy started to sing and Romeo and Juliet saw each other from across the b room and then they both went behind the curtain and kissed and Romeo said a sonnet. and then he walked off and after hat he went back to see Juliet at her house and she was sitting on the balcony and she started to talk and then Romeo walked out of the bush an they talked fro about 5 minutes and then they kissed gain and then the nurse called out to Juliet and then Juliet said anon nurse and she said goodbye to Romeo and then she came back out and they kissed gain and she said good bye again. And then the next day the nurse went out to see Romeo and gave him a message from Juliet but on the way to Romeo some random guys had started do to be mean to the nurse and then she told Romeo the message and went back to Juliet and that's all we have seen of the movie so far.

my favourite things  to do are?

Coming home from school, going to my cousin's house, swimming body boarding, and going to the beach.

I like swimming because fun easy to do. and playing with the rubber floats and i also like  going down waterslides and I like to go to water parks in Australia because they have slides that are so fun and scary.

I like going to the beach because usually when I go to the beach I go body boarding or I go on a biscuit. and a biscuit is a huge round thing shaped like a biscuit except it has a  hole in it that u sit in and it gets pulled by a boat and it feels like you flying on water.
